Williams Caribbean Capital (“WCC”) is an impact investment company that is focused on sustainability including renewable energy, food packaging solutions and impact high potential start-ups. WCC is a joint venture with the Caribbean conglomerate Williams Industries Group (www.williamsindustries.bb). Headquartered in Barbados with offices in Dublin, Ireland and Kingston, Jamaica.
Founded in July 2017, WCC's portfolio businesses have revenues in excess of $65m and approximately 600 employees under management. WCC is funded via internal equity, external equity, institutional debt and green bond issuance's. WCC will continue to expand by making incremental profitable impact investments.
Williams Caribbean Capital will build on its operational, mergers and acquisitions and investment services expertise, whilst acting as a business development arm of Williams Industries Inc. with core ESG corporate principles as some of its core guiding investment philosophies.
Williams Industries Inc. (WII) was founded over 50 years ago by Ralph “Bizzy” Williams and is a diversified Caribbean corporation with headquarters situated at Cane Garden, St. Thomas in Barbados. From its headquarters WII controls thirteen wholly owned and 17 joint venture companies in Barbados, St. Lucia, and other Caribbean Islands. These companies do business in manufacturing, electrical engineering, supply to the construction industry, waste recycling, water desalination, well drilling, real estate development, building and equipment rental, sewage treatment, alternative energy, cellular communication and tourism.
