February 2017

Former Digicel CEOs Barry O’ Brien and Ciaran Burke leave Digicel to form the investment business New Caribbean Capital Partners. (“NCCP”) 

July 2017

Williams Industries and NCCP form a joint venture called Williams Caribbean Capital which is an investment and business development company headquartered in Barbados.

April 2018

Williams Renewable Energy Limited (“WREL”) is formed as a wholly owned subsidiary of Williams Caribbean Capital. WREL issues a $40m green energy bond program in May 2018. 

February 2019

Acquired Irish Flexible Packaging 

May 2019

WCC Green Bonds were validated as conforming to the Green Bond Principles by Sustainalytics.

June 2019

WCC Green Bonds were certified by the global Climate Bond Initiative as conforming to the Paris accord. 


July 2019

 Acquired Fispak Limited Ireland.

August 2019

Launched Compare in Jamaica (www.comparejamaica.com).
